There's nothing quite like being in a bookstore in a village! My stepson chose to spend his birthday money here & he chose two books. I really enjoyed the section with Christmas books & Christmas books with local authors. Charming! I couldn't leave without an armful of books!

Stumbled on this place after grabbing ice cream next door and honestly, it made my day. I wasn’t expecting to find such a cozy, well-curated bookstore tucked into a Bavarian-style village—but here we are. The vibe is perfect. Quiet, warm, and full of character. Feels very European—wood shelves, handwritten staff picks, little nooks where you just want to sit and flip pages. I walked out with three books I didn’t plan on buying. That says something. If you’re in Leavenworth and love books, don’t skip it. It’s a quiet little win.

This bookstore has a very thoughtful selection of books -- and we were especially impressed with the large variety of local history, nature, field guides. They have a large children's section. One corner of the store has used books in excellent condition, and they also have greeting cards, playing cards, and small gift items. This was our first time in, but we'll definitely make it a regular stop, when we're in Leavenworth.

Such a cute place!! The layout was cute and easy to follow and they had really good book options, both used and new. The workers were nice and the vibe of the shop was so light. Definitely recommend and will be back again as soon as I’m back in town!

I can get very overwhelmed in bookstores, but this one was perfect! They are small but they have all the classics and new releases you could want for your vacation reads. Something I noticed and appreciated was that if the new releases were part of a series then they have one of every book previous too! They have a lot of the good local travel and nature books. Many of the sections are small like the craft section probably had 20 books total but of those 20 I was interest in like 15 of them! My wife also was able to find two new releases in their used section for a great deal in great condition. I left there thinking wow they truly did an amazing job curating their store, and came back the next day for more and decided I had to write a review for them!
