My favorite bookstore in San Diego! They always have a unique and varied selection unlike anything else on the market, and they have a wonderful ambience.

Had such a wonderful logistic experience with The Book Catapult-- moved at an inopportune time and my primary concern was receiving my pre-order for Taran Armstrong's "Behind The Mirror" (and a handful of other pre-orders I had floating out there). I've had firsthand annoyance with modifying shipping addresses for many things, but Book Catapult responded within 20 minutes and adjusted the shipping address. As an avid reader with many pre-orders on the horizon, this made moving so much simpler. Thank you, Book Catapult! Oh! And the book is pretty solid, too!

We absolutely love this bookstore. Great selection books, incredible kid section. We stop in every time we are in the area. Support them if you get the chance.

I love The Book Catapult! Favorite store on the crawl! I make my annual trip during BHM because they care. About my history and all others. A couple trips throughout the year, i buy all my books from The Book Catapult. Awesome selection, even for the kiddos!

My favorite bookstore in San Diego! The folks who run this shop do such a wonderful job filling the shelves with treasures. When I stopped in last week, I found so much enticing new fiction on the first display table, I lingered there for a long time before moving over to the shelves. It’s like they combed through my Goodreads account, and put together a table of books meant just for me. I could easily spend all day in here! Whenever I need gifts for kids, this is my go-to spot. Puzzles, picture books, and kids lit fills the back 1/4 of the shop, and there are tons of cool finds. Books from local authors are often highlighted, if you want to shop hyper-local. Definitely worth going out of your way for a trip to this South Park gem! Edited 4/6/22 to add: still my fave bookstore in San Diego! Their new mural in the kids section is just delightful!
