Absolutely wonderful bookstore! The service here is excellent — the staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely love what they do. As a book author myself, I immediately felt welcomed and appreciated. You can tell they truly care about literature and their customers. The way the books are handled and displayed on the shelves shows real respect for the craft — everything is organized, clean, and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why bookstores still matter. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this gem of a shop!

I did not feel welcomed in this store. Stayed in the store 20 minutes. No one spoke when we entered or said a word to us the entire time we were there. When we visit another city/town we love to visit the local bookstores.That is always a highlight of our visit. Great selection of books. Saw several that I wanted to purchase, however I didn’t feel comfortable. Maybe the next time in town, I will try again to see if this was just bad timing.

Enjoyed this treasure on Main Street. Many years ago I came here to supplement college text books and supplies. Today, I brought my teens. They were fully immersed in the store. The enjoyed finding books on robotics, the magic of science, green mythology, the Roman empire, and Pride. A large selection of books for all ages are available on 2 levels. The downstairs has books from floor to ceiling with 2 ladders provided to reach the book of your choosing. There is also plenty of seating downstairs while you decide which book to bring home. Also, was in need of a birthday card to send and found this here as well. My daughter was excited about the poetry machine that both dispenses poetry and has a way to submit poetry through a QR code.

A small but very cool little bookstore located in Amherst, Mass. Despite the small size, the location packs plenty of books and they even had a poetry dispensing machine which I thought was super cool. There’s also a bathroom if you’re wondering - you just have to ask for the key up front.
