Bethany Beach Books

One of my favorite book stores at the beach! I love taking a walk down the boardwalk and stopping by Bethany Beach Books. There’s a huge selection with clear sections including top sellers/charts, staff picks, a Taylor Swift area, local MD reads and all of the typical genres of books for adults, YA & children. They have lots of options for book merch including bookmarks, calendars, bags and more. When I went for St. Patrick’s Day weekend, if you wanted a surprise, you could choose a “Feeling Lucky?” book that gave a little bit of information but was wrapped, so it was essentially a blind date with a book! They also now have “The Book Drop”, a monthly subscription service grab bag! There’s signed books available and they often do author signing events. So many options for books, goodies & events - sign up for their email list for updates.

My family comes to bethany beach multiple times a year and bethany books if a stop we have to make every single time. Its always fun finding hidden gems as well as classics. My kids love finding their new book because they get a new one with every visit. There is truely something for everyone in this cute little bookstore. The staff is always so nice and extremely helpful. You can also find signed copies of books or even go in for a book signing. I have never been to one but they seem to happen fairly frequently. They even have a point system so after you spend a certain amount you get a coupon that is good for 1 year!

Love their selection and layout! I could’ve walked out with so much more. Really appreciate that this store not only sells postcards but offered a stamp of purchase as well. They are the go to bookstore in this entire region.

I absolutely loved spending time in this book store! Organized in way that makes shopping fun, there is so much to see and discover! The displays had me picking up books left and right. I enjoyed chatting books with the staff, and the staff recommendations and synopses on the shelves! I left with three sets of adorable, nautical postcards from a Maryland artist and some pins!
