My friend and I stopped in as we spontaneously spoke about wanting coffee - and I had recalled seeing Brooks Books post on social media about having a mini cafe. Having never been inside, we decided to stop in to explore. And what a cozy, quaint, quiet, clean spot to spend time relaxing or reading! Currently, it’s decorated so tastefully with an enchanting and playful Halloween theme. In the back corner, a pop-up co-shared coffee corner offers multiple options for refreshing and sweet coffee drinks. Sarah was at the time staffing her shop “Novel Brews” which offers deliciously and thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks on Wednesdays and Fridays. Sarah was a friendly, sweet barista who tailored our drink orders to our preferences and explained that another barista hosts her own pop-up cafe on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For a quick trip for a quick drip, we are now sold on this being a go-to local Wyandotte coffee spot! Thank you, Sarah, Novel Brews, and Brooks Books!

This place is like a dream! Large selection of various books, a mini coffee shop, places to sit and work, and wonderful staff! Hannah was incredibly nice and even gave me some suggestions for further reading, which I appreciated. I didn't get a chance to comb through their rare book selection, but I definitely will the next time I'm there. If you listen to audiobooks, consider getting the Libro.fm app instead of Audible. Love this little independent bookstore. They have a great variety so everyone can find something. Very welcoming and friendly staff with shop themes and events. Love this place!
