Busboys and Poets (Charles Village)

This place was wonderful from food to drinks to service. Food was excellent and in good portion. So much flavor and fresh toast soooo crispy even with a little syrup on it. Perfection! Drinks are real alcoholic drinks for grown folk and not some watered down nonsense you get at other restaurants. Service was like family, just the ease of relating and talking to our waitress Missy was a great part of the overall experience

Had a wonderful supper here with the family! Will is an excellent server, so helpful, kind and attentive. All the food was delicious and great quality. They even accommodated my son’s several allergies really well and he was able to eat a delicious meal safely. Much appreciated. We had blackened salmon with wild rice- delicious! Shrimp and penne with mushroom - yum! Greek salad with blackened salmon, another win! And Falafal salad with grilled shrimp, great! Portions are large so sharing is a great option! Also the mocktails are really refreshing- esp the Tropical Breeze. Hot chocolate is 10/10 Plus they offer halal chicken and lamb options! And you can’t beat the atmosphere, peace and justice FTW. The restaurant was really nice and I enjoyed my first visit with a few family members. They were hosting a book signing which I thought was exciting to share the same space. We didn’t wait long for our food which was a plus. The food was okay just missing flavor; however the customer service and drinks made up for what the food lacked. I’d visit again the space was lovely.

Simply Amazing! Good vibes and Great food at affordable prices. (Occasionally the music 🎶 was much too loud and the condensation from the overhead HVAC piping dripped from time to time (we were offered new seating), but that did little to take away from the delicious food, eclectic surroundings, and attentive service that we thoroughly enjoyed.) We'll be back regularly for sure!!
