Chapter 2 Books

Edit to my previous post: the owner of Chapter 2 Books contacted me. She is super sweet and we had a nice long talk. She has made amends with what happened and I would recommend shopping there. If you do sell books to them, see below, so you are aware of how it works. They do have a flyer they can give you at the store also. Absolute worst bookstore ever! Would NOT recommend. If you sell books, even your first time make sure to tell them you want your bins back. They threw away my basket and hamper. NEVER said we throw these away if you leave them or anything. Do I'm already out $40 between the hamper and basket that they THREW AWAY! We got $48 in credit. We go to "use the credit" and the credit is only HALF the price of the item you are buying. So I thought I had $48 in credit when I ended up having to pay $31..instead of using all the credit. Nowhere does it say that's the way the credit works. I've never seen this done anywhere else. NOWHERE was there communication saying they were going to throw our stuff away and only use half the credit. I guess you are supposed to read their mind that's how it works. It was my first, and last time selling to them. They had to enter my name into the system to even sell, so obviously I HAVE NEVER SOLD THERE AND HE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME! It's VERY deceitful. WORST business EVER!!! As far as I know the books he didn't buy are in the trash too. I've always been able to get the product back (other places) that they don't take. There was no itemized receipt to know what he was buying or anything. I will NEVER go back! Corrupt business!!!

My favorite shop in Kokomo! Great selection of horror/sci-fi/fantasy books at incredible prices. Their cat Nancy Drew is more than willing to help you pick out your next read!

Love, love, love it here. There's always something fun I find. Used books, new books, tote bags, bookmarks, vinyl stickers, etc. There's a train table in the kids' section my youngest loves. They have reward systems, too. Check it out!

My sister and I finally got to visit this store. Very nice and inviting. A great selection of books! Only 4 stars because the young girl working was on her phone the whole time and was quite loud and not discreet. We weren't greeted coming in or leaving. Other than that I do plan on checking out again in the future.
