As a young 19-year-old college student going into this place feels very welcoming. I came here to buy a couple of newspapers which has a rather interesting feel. I would come back to this place if I ever wanted to buy newspapers or even magazines. I highly recommend this place if you want a feel of going back in time.

I buy a ton of crosswords and the occasional newspaper or cooking magazine there, but they carry every newspaper and magazine I've ever heard of and so many more. In a world of a sadly dying print medium, this place is a gem.

It doesn't look big, but they actually got a wide range of magazines, ranging from the latest stuff to some older copies. I went to New York a couple of days later and frankly the selection of stores there, including Barnes & Nobles, wasn't as good or deep as it was here. The store might be a little far out for some people though, the train took quite a bit of time even from midtown Chicago.

I was impressed by their vast inventory.. was informed this location keeps more in stock cause it's right near the train. The worker was very helpful.. had exactly what I was looking for!
