Show this bookstore some love and browse around, you'll definitely find something you'll want to take home. Great collection of art books and all varieties. They also do pop-ups, which is really great. They have deals when they show up, so don't miss out on some affordable hardcover books!

Very cool book store. Owners are amazing people. Wonderful shopping experience. This is the kind of place you feel really good about spending your money. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything they carry and a whole lot more. They host authors & other interesting guests frequently. There are other cool shops next door & student events outside all the time. Must visit for locals & tourists interested in books, american history, black culture & fashion, or just cool niche spots.

My husband and I are in town for a wedding and we had to find "our people" while we were here! This store is one of those places that you can tell from the moment you walk in the door is something special. The collection of books is carefully curated, and the owners are clearly people who care deeply about their community. In addition to books, there is art and ceramics by local artists available for purchase, as well as t-shirts, stickers, and bookmarks so you can show your love for your favorite Houston indie bookstore when you're out and about. This place rules! Glad we went looking for our people, because we definitely found them! 😊

A humanity and people centric location for all kinds of books and media. Great place and the People who run the place understand very well about operating a business that's good for the community. This is the type of place that is very community-minded and the type of actions they engage in help people. I've seen class bookstore out in the community before attending events as a vendor where there was community outreach going on. And likewise today if you can slide through some of these pictures you can see they hosted a solidarity event for political prisoners and people who have faced retaliation from the justice system for their political beliefs. And without businesses like class bookstore who give activists and local citizens a chance to exercise their first amendment rights it would be very difficult for the people to have a real voice in public in real life because so much of our digital footprints and voices are silenced by those who would have an interest in controlling the narrative. Shout out to the people at class bookstore for giving the people a chance to speak and do right.
