Deadtime Stories: True Crime and Other Books

This shop is an absolute gem! It's cozy and curated with a wide selection of books and gift items related to true crime and interesting oddities. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about local crime and has done tours and has a podcast. One of my favorite parts about the store? Two shop cats! For one of my visits, the cats let me look but not touch...until I bought something. Then one of them couldn't get enough attention. I think they are very well trained! Love this store!

FINALLY made it in to this store lol. Been trying to get here for a while. I was passing by on my way back across the state and decided to make a pit stop lol. Said pit stop did not disappoint! The shop is split in 2 sections-books and not books/gift type things. They had stuffies, rocks, stickers, pins, candles, and just so many things. They had these stuffie organs. I was hoping there was a gallbladder one bc I just had mine out a few months ago but sadly there was not one. And the books. Omg, how does one choose just one when they all look like great reads?! I narrowed it down between a couple books. Still couldn't decide so I had the black cat help me lol. I honestly cant wait to come by the shop again!

I love Deadtime! I made my first visit in January and go at least once a month. Whenever I have family over from out of town, I take them to Deadtime. I love the store’s vibe and they have cats! They have a little gift shop as well and I bought the cutest cat skeleton hair clip and matching earrings. I started going to the monthly book club and it’s so much fun! Jen is so nice and knowledgeable!
