We stopped in for a late lunch on a weekday. I was too shy to dance in as the sign suggested, so I didn’t get 50% off my drink. But several local patrons did their dance and got their discount! Our food was great, even so late in the afternoon. Loved the homey farmhouse look, and the nooks and crannies where you could sit and read. I even talked the retired professor into giving me an author recommendation! Mick Herron.

I love Dog Ears! Everyone is friendly & something is always going on. There is a cafe there where you can have coffee, tea, smoothies, lots more. I just had the pumpkin spice latte which was sooo good. I like to get something different every time I go. This time I had the Writer's Block sandwich. You pick your own items. I had turkey, swiss, homemade Dijon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles & cucumbers. Really good! Tomorrow they are having the author Sudhir Suchak author of Last Boat to Freedom from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. There is always someone there to talk to. I like to go there and just read or socialize. They are having a kids race Sept 28 for kids up to 10 years old. They have the signups in the store. My favorite section is the local author books. My goal is to read them all. Once you go here you will keep coming back.

A quiet and cute bookstore & cafe. My wife and I came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. While it took a little bit for them to prepare our order, the sandwiches were excellent. A very good selection of local Western New York authors, which I haven't seen in other local bookstores. We will gladly come here again in the future to try something else from their robust menu. Plenty of wonderful drink options as well.

The ladies taking orders and making the food are spectacular and wonderful 🫶🏼 The beverages are delicious, love all the food options. And the bookstore run by volunteers is such an amazing addition to the Buffalo community. We love dropping in and spending time here. 🖤🌈
