What an amazing service. My parents passed away, leaving us with more than 500 books, many signed by the authors. We boxed all the books up in small moving boxes, sorted the signed books, and contacted Dream Books. Right when they said, the truck turned up, loaded all the boxes on a pallet, filled their truck, and they left. We loved being able to donate these books!!!

A little difficult to find the storefront- 1st entrance on the right when you turn in, but I had a blast. Love used book stores. Small store, but love that the company works locally with non profits and cares enough to recycle old materials. Definitely have my business.

I ordered a copy of “50 Oscar Nights” from Dream Books Co. through Abe Books. The book was in good condition, which is how I ordered it. My complaint is the inferior packaging of this beautiful book. It arrived in a tight thin plastic wrap with nothing to secure the edges. There was nothing protective about this packaging. The thin paper was so tight I had to painstakingly open it, as I didn’t want to accidentally cut into the pages. Is this how a fine hardcover book is sent across the country from Colorado to Connecticut? I would have gladly paid a little extra for bubble wrap as well as little cardboard corner protectors. Thankfully, the book remained in good condition.

My fiancé and I found this place on a whim only after driving by it countless times. I found 4 books that I cannot wait to read. Dream Book Co is a wonderful cause that keeps books in rotations and available to communities all around. Stop in and say hi!
