We stopped at eagle harbor book co as we are huge Kristin Hannah fans, and had heard this is her local bookstore. I was pleasantly surprised at their large selection of not only Kristin’s books, but other authors local to bainbridge island! The cherry on top was that a couple of Kristen’s books were signed, which are going to make special Christmas presents and keepsakes for years to come! I was also really excited to see waterproof field guides, which I would recommend to anyone in the pnw to bring on hikes or tide pooling!

Wonderful selection of books! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is set-up in a very nice layout, with little alcoves for reading and pretty displays to look at. There's a great selection of local items (books, stationary, etc). They have a strong line-up of events for each season, as well. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Eagle Harbor Books is rare proper bookstore. It has the good sense to stock real books, and the even better sense to employ people who have actually read some of them. In an age of digital chatter and corporate blandness, it stands as a pleasant monument to the idea that browsing, discovery, and the smell of paper are treasured. A notable civic miracle on an island already rich in them.

Amazing book store! They have a fantastic selection of books but also SO many Knick knacks that don’t just feel like a waste of shelf space. Neat little trinkets, great gifts, beautiful notebooks, etc. One of the best curated bookstores I’ve ever been to!

Phenomenal local bookstore with an excellent variety of new books. I especially enjoy the giant "Staff Picks" wall and the corner with all of the book club reads for the current month. It's fun to see what others are reading and it makes it easy to discover hidden gems. Today there was a display of signed copies of books as well, and I was surprised to find a new book signed by Louis Sachar. Wayside Stories and Holes were big parts of my childhood so I had to pick up his new book. They also had a display celebrating Latin American authors with some Spanish language books, which I was happy to see! Of course, there are many other amazing things here, please check them out if you're in the area!
