This is the type of used bookstore that I dislike. They are extremely picky about which books they take, despite claiming to want to keep books out of landfills. They will take your donated books, but you have to donate 5 (their decision on what they'll take) to get a twenty percent of coupon to spend buying used books that they got for free. My books were in excellent shape, and current, but were turned away because I wasn't willing to donate them outright. It certainly feels like a slimy sales approach to sell only books that were donated and turn away people who are looking for a better discount. If anyone is looking for a better used bookstore, I'm going to stick with driving to Owatonna. Eatons doesn't play games, and they do it for the love of reading. GPB seems only interested in their love of money.

In fairness, this is the best bookstore in Rochester, Minnesota. This is exactly the sort of place I would open if I opened a bookstore.

The owner, Adam, hosted a wonderful local authors event and it was fantastic!! There are about a half a dozen rooms well labeled, well organized and full of books, quotes, pictures and signs. Books are well priced and its a cheery, happy vibe. 10/10!!

Staff was not very nice when I stopped in earlier last week. I was looking for books on history and they were not very helpful. I stopped by later in the week and the same person was working and they gave me the eye roll and said you again.

Very organized space with a variety of books! I love that they have a kids area with blocks to play with.
