I love coming to this place. I love the books. I love the quiet time it provides. But let me tell you I have brought Some expensive books More than a tote full. Only to get $ four dollars. Then they go and resell it for a higher price. I understand cutting the prices in half with the books that I bring in. This place is something else and I can’t wait to find me a new book store.

Service was good to hear. I went asking for journals and the lady at the register was really sweet and showed me where they were. They didn't have the best selection for journals but I know it's not a thing. But they did have an adequate supply. Also, I wish they would work on their pricing... Some of their books and Bibles that I looked at I would have gotten if they were a little cheaper. For example, they had a Thomas Nelson Bible in new King James version, it was in decent shape on the inside but the outside cover was horrendous and they wanted like $16 or something like that. I just thought that was a little too much. If it was like $10 I would have bought it.

We love this Half Price Books! It is massive with lots of puzzles, games, records, vhs, dvds, BOOKS, stuffies and more! I get all my presents for people here because they truly have something for everyone. They also have tons of comic books, a resale area, super helpful staff and great prices!

I’ve always enjoyed this store for the most part but I’m pretty freaking annoyed. I come to their location at 730pm to grab some books to read through the cold and icy weather, and they close early due to “inclement weather” which is drizzle and above freezing temperatures until far after they close tonight. Or we’re supposed to close anyway. I often gauge a business on its commitment to providing for the customer when something is needed most, and before everyone is about to be stuck at home for the weekend, they close early. Not the best choice. I’ve got other books but it’s still annoying.

Always a quiet and relaxing experience. However, the vinyl records are now way overpriced. I used to purchase classic rock vinyl records for $4. Now they’re over $30.
