I was just in here for the first time the other day and figured I’d stop by. The store was observed to be very clean well organized, and all merchandise displayed well! They have two very nicely stocked shelves of wilderness survival and hiking content!! I recommend stopping by and check this place out!! 👍👍😁🇺🇸

My adult daughter loves Half Price Bookstores; however, while she purchased 2 books yesterday, she noted that the selection was very limited here (by Orland Sq mall). Unfortunate. Perhaps if they granted higher prices for generous donors, more would frequent this store and inventory would be enhanced; thus attracting more customers.

First time here, it's definitely not exactly what I thought. It was better! They have so much more than just books! I was here with a friend who wanted to sell them some books, so I had time to poke around. They offer new books, used books, comics, CDs, cassettes, games, and more. I inquired about a book I had read back in the early 80s and they found it! It had to be sent from another location, how exciting for me, I can't wait to get it and read it again. Prices are decent for used material. Pretty neat place.

This place will pay you for bringing in books (obviously), music (CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays,etc.), and video games and board games. But don't expect to get much. On one occasion, I brought in Collector's Edition boxes for four different video games, and they gave me around $30. I thought " ok, that's understandable. They are older games, and the condition they were in wasn't exactly pristine. But $30 for FOUR Collector's Edition boxes!? That's a little low. " I accepted the price and went about my day. More recently, I brought one Collector's Edition box, but it was huge. I also brought a record in with it. This box goes for well over $100 on eBay. I didn't expect them to match how much it would sell for on eBay, but I did expect a number that was in the ballpark of $100, especially considering it was collector's edition AND a record. Wanna know what I got for both items? $10. As I've said, you can bring stuff in. Just don't expect a lot. Oh, and the staff is also nice and friendly.

I've been here a few times now. Lovely store with a large stock, good hidden-gem finds (such as the many Funko Pops I've collected over a long while), and great atmosphere. The place is moderately quiet with a bunch of shelves with books, DVDs, CDs, records, comics, toys, and games. As far as seating goes, there doesn't seem to be much other than a few chairs at the entrance, but I may have overlooked. The check-out counter is stocked nicely with cute trinkets and bookmarks.
