Half Price Books Penn Crossing

This place is dangerous to your wallet if you're a book addict. The books range from cheap to reasonably priced, which lulls you into filling up your cart. They also have decent selections and prices for collectable works. I do not recommend selling your books to them unless you just want them out of your home and don't care about the money. They give equal rates in cash and store credit ant they pay you next to nothing. I sold more than a dozen books last time and got $11. I didn't argue because I just needed them gone for space.

I like half price books. There's just a few employees in there that need a lot more training in customer service. I do not like the fact that they do not have bags to carry your books out.

I absolutely love this book store. It also has toys, craft kits, games, and vinyl records. I love getting gifts from her for others. My kids enjoy going there as well. I get school books and things for college studies. If you have books you need to get rid of, maybe you have duplicate copies, you can sell them to them. I have even purchased a set of DC comic glass wear and an anime bento lunch box from them. They have several locations, so be sure to check them out.

The book collection is HUGE with a Marvelous selection of basically All topics, from religion to war stories to sci-fi etc. Great for "browsing exercise" aka walking circles around the store getting steps in while perusing the stacks.
