Very nice store. Smaller selection of children's books than other locations but very good prices and very nice staff. Would avoid Saturday afternoons. It was very busy and a bit to crowded for browsing.

I was so happy to be back in a Half Price Books after years living in places without any. It was welcoming and like seeing an old friend. I found more movies than my budget would allow. Quite pleased with my finds! Lovely, helpful, professional staff who helped get some sticky mystery gunk off of a dvd. Fantastic location. Am so pleased!

I mean, I'm biased - every book store is a five star in my... book? Half Price is nice because it has both cheap paperbacks and collectible classics. I love how they sort out there nonfictions, but I always get a tad bit confused by how they sort the fiction. They carry such a wide range of products as well - along with the books, the movies and music selection is also wide and varied. The books are in great condition - they clearly pride themselves on only putting the ones in the best shape on the shelves.

Great location for finding books, comics, gaming options, and other various fun items. There was a line to get in when this place opened at 10 am... but we didn't have to wait but for a moment to get inside. The location was organized and clean... making it nice to walk around and check out all the items they have for sale. They also have lots of rare and collectible items. The staff was nice as well. It's definitely a great place to visit if you love reading, owning books, or looking for unique finds. It's also located across from the Park Nicollet Specialty Center, which if you have a loved one in treatments and their appointments take over an hour or more, this is an excellent place to check out whole waiting.

Half Price SLP has a constantly rotating selection of new and used books. The staff is friendly and the categories generally make sense. (Some HPB store shelves things in the most unusual ways). There are two sections of recently acquired books that are great to check out. Of the Twin Cities are HPB stores, this generally has the most constantly rotating selection of books.
