After more than two decades of regular visits, this small but mighty bookstore has become an irreplaceable part of my reading life. What it lacks in square footage, it more than makes up for in character, curation, and that indefinable magic that only comes from shelves packed with stories waiting for their next reader. The beauty of this store lies in its incredible density of literary treasures. Every inch of space is maximized, with books organized in a way that somehow makes perfect sense once you understand the owner's logic. Towering shelves stretch toward the ceiling, creating intimate corridors where you can lose yourself browsing spine after spine of possibilities. The carefully selected new releases occupy prime real estate, while the used book collection sprawls through the rest of the space like a literary archaeological site. The used book section is where this store truly shines. Over the years, I've discovered countless out-of-print gems, first editions, and forgotten classics that would be nearly impossible to find elsewhere. There's something thrilling about the hunt – never knowing if today will be the day you stumble across that book you've been searching for, or better yet, a title you never knew you needed. The owner's discerning eye means that even the most crowded shelves contain quality selections rather than random castoffs. What makes this place exceptional is the owner's encyclopedic knowledge of their inventory. Despite the thousands of books crammed into this compact space, they seem to know exactly where everything is located. I've watched them navigate directly to obscure titles based on the vaguest customer descriptions, pulling books from seemingly impossible-to-remember locations with the confidence of someone who knows every volume personally. The pricing reflects a genuine love of books rather than pure profit motive. Used books are reasonably priced, making literary exploration accessible to readers on any budget. I've built an impressive personal library over the years thanks to their fair pricing, often leaving with far more books than I'd planned to buy because the deals were simply too good to pass up. The selection process for new books reveals sophisticated literary taste. Rather than stocking every bestseller, they choose titles that complement their used collection and serve their community of serious readers. These aren't impulse purchases but thoughtful additions that often introduce me to authors I might otherwise overlook. The store's compact size creates an intimacy that larger bookstores cannot replicate. Conversations with other browsing customers happen naturally in the narrow aisles, leading to book recommendations and literary discussions. The owner often joins these impromptu conversations, sharing insights about particular authors or suggesting similar titles based on overheard preferences. During my twenty-year relationship with this store, I've watched it weather various challenges while maintaining its essential character. The owner's dedication to preserving this literary sanctuary shows in every carefully chosen acquisition and every knowledgeable recommendation. This small bookstore proves that size means nothing when passion and expertise fill every available inch. It remains a testament to the enduring power of independent bookselling and the irreplaceable value of spaces where literature lives and breathes in concentrated form.

An amazing old style real book store! They have a huge selection of used books and new best sellers arrive every day. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and offer excellent choices. I read 2 to 3 books a week and absolutely love this store. There is nothing like turning the pages of a real book!

I was impressed. Hadn't been in a used bookstore for a long time. The shelves were stocked with every type and category. He had the authors I was interested in. You will not be disappointed. Everything is cataloged. Just ask the person behind the counter what you're looking for. He will tell you if he has it n stock or not. And it smells like an old bookstore. They have been there for 48 years. I am very happy I went. I will go back soon.
