What a lovely bookstore! The selection of books is wonderful and well organized, as well as fairly priced. My friends and I had a lovely time exploring the place and meeting the owner who is incredibly kind! She gave each of us a cute homemade Christmas ornament with our purchases which just made our day! Highly recommend coming here if you are in the Helen area for all your bookish needs!

What a wonderful book store! I called them when I was on the road to ask if they had a specific book and they were so helpful! They had the book I was looking for and they held it for me. Once there I had to shop a bit more! Very well organized, very knowledgeable and very helpful. Great prices on the books. "Daisy" the book store cat is just perfect and adds to the charm of this special store. Definitely will be stopping in again on our next trip to Helen. ❤️📚

It has been a while since I visited the store, but after reading all the reviews, I definitely side with the majority. This is a great used book shop. The several comments about prices being high for used books must have come from people who are used to buying ten-cent paperbacks at yard sales, because I've found their prices to be quite reasonable compared to other buy-sell-trade style used book stores. It is perfectly reasonable to pay a fair price for a place you can go and lay hands on books, examine them, and take them home with you right away. If visitors are only looking for the lowest possible price on a used book, perhaps they should spend their vacations enjoying the frustration of searching endlessly online for books they can buy sight-unseen and hope they are in as-advertised condition when they arrive. I'd rather spend a few cents more - or even a few dollars more - for the experience, and to support small businesses. I also love the added dash of personality Daisy lends the shoppe.

Absolutely loved our visit here! I've driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop. I was absolutely thrilled to see the selection of books, manga, comics, paper backs, and more they have available. Their Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any questions I had to see if they had particular materials(D&D books) and she was able to show me what they had in stock. They also have a few reading areas and a meeting room with comfortable seating. A local Poetry group is established there. I absolutely loved meeting Daisy the cat who is very good at her job! I recommend this as a stop on your list for anyone that may or may not be from the area. I definitely will be a repeat customer!
