My mom and I came in to buy some used books. We love books and didn't really mind too much that they were expensive for used books. But the second we walked in we were stopped at the door by an older lady who we had to presume she worked there because she asked "what do you want?" then just stood there staring at us. she stared so long i tried to just walk away after trying to tell her how we wanted to look at cook books but we were fine looking on our own. she kept staring at us and i eventually asked if she wanted us to leave or if we shouldn't be there. Because it really did feel like she didn't want us to be there and i wondered if the store was just to store books for selling online? she then said where the cook books were then said "oh yea i was probably just looking to figure out what you were wearing." I was wearing a flowery swim suit under black over alls and i told her where it was from because she said it was pretty then walked away. she kept asking my mom and i if we needed help and we kept saying no. idk about other people but when i go into a bookstore i assume everyone there will want to keep to themselves and not be questioned too much. she continued to be rude through out our experience there even reading out our over 100 bill loudly at least three times because she seemed irritated we wanted to use credit and not debit. she dropped one of our books and didn't pick it up for awhile and said "oh well they don't break" and when i asked if she had put it in the bag she got offended even though i really just wanted to know because i hadn't seen her do that because she had left it there while checking out our other books.

Met several other grandmas looking for some books for the grandkids while on vacation. Was pleasantly surprised by such a great variety of books including a children’s corner. Nice shop!

I ordered books from My Sister's Books through AbeBooks.com. My book came with a personalized note including that the book was coming out as a movie this year. Appreciate the small touch!
