Plenty downtown bookshop is a quaint little nonprofit bookshop that lies in the Historic Westside district of Cookeville- a vibrant college town situated among the beautiful mountains, caverns, and waterfalls of middle Tennessee. We carry a variety of books, including a rather large selection of children's books and classics that make wonderful gifts. We also offer a lovely selection of fine stationary and writing instruments, as well as toys and games that encourage and foster a love for reading. Plenty is seeking to build a book culture in our community. We partner with businesses and community members to bring a love of reading to all parts of our region, and host events like our monthly Sawmill Poetry Series, writers' workshops, books clubs, author events, and book events in our local schools.

This bookstore has an amazing selection and options for everyone. I love the variety of fantasy books and the local selections! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed as well.

This bookstore if full of friendly and joyful people! I’ve been looking for a book and wasn’t able to find it to buy in the US and because they sell some UK editions they were able to order the book for me! Ginger, specifically helped me order and even when I came to purchase the book today got to check me out, after a 2 hour drive from where I live! Would recommend supporting this amazing bookstore! ❤️

This is a great bookshop with all sorts of interesting merchandise and a good selection of books. It a has a cozy welcoming atmosphere.

I had a great experience at PLENTY Downtown Bookshop in Cookeville! The shop has a great selection of books that caters to a wide range of interests, and I was impressed by how well-curated everything felt. "Nice touch with the index cards underneath books with the shop staff's own book overviews* I was lucky enough to walk in during a local author meet and greet during one of my visits, which added a unique touch to the visit. The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere even more inviting. I picked up Stephen King’s latest book as a memento, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in town! The Cookeville downtown area is full of a bunch of gems! Iykyk!

My favorite new addition to Cookeville, this is the bookstore you dream of with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. In spite of being small, you can always find something interesting. And if you're looking for a specific book that isn't in stock, they can order it, giving you an excuse to come back. Love this local bookstore!
