Prince Books

Awesome local bookstore in Norfolk's very busy waterside area. Tucked in next to the hotels and businesses of Norfolk, you will find an amazing selection of books for all tastes.

Once again, Prince Books comes through. This time, two days before Christmas. I called to get a gift card. I didn't think I would make it by tomorrow, so they let me pay for it over the phone. It's for my 92 year old father, a retired professor and avid reader. Unfortunately, he lost his leg in the recent past, and can't get around as he once did. Prince credited his account and he can use it on his next order. This is not the first time that Prince employees went above and beyond. It is a great book store and café, and they host a variety of really good speakers. But it's the personal touch. Merry Christmas 🎄

I've finally made it after a year of this being on my to visit list! Great little shop, easy street parking right in front. Missed the Cafe that closes at 1500. Great current and classic selections. Didn't have a couple of specific genre books I was aiming for, but snagged an awesome 1000 puzzle and some adult fantasy fiction books instead. Staff was kind to keep my to purchase items stacked behind the counter as I continued shopping. Great local small business book shop! They have author's signing coming up too.

My absolute favorite bookstore! Somehow they always have the exact thing I’m looking for. Lots of variety, and great local interest books too.
