Rooted Books is a refreshing space to escape, whether you're in need of a good book or like-minded company. Their selection is carefully curated, betraying a common theme of inclusivity and intersectionality. I was delighted to not only find my next read, but pro-palestinian merchandise - the proceeds from the pin I purchased will be supporting a family in the Gaza strip. Rooted Books is certainly a rare find for Central Nebraska - and one that leaves me a little more hopeful than before.

I absolutely adore this place! The owners are nothing but kind and will bend over backwards to get a book you want. I’ve always been treated with so much respect. My kiddos get so excited anytime I tell them we’re going! We are so lucky to have this gem in Grand Island ❤️

This bookstore was very helpful when looking for gifts! I've gone several times for help and gotten a great recommendation every time. I also went to their Galentine's book event which was a blast! Waffles and a book swap, what could be better?

Love this store! Danielle is very friendly, knowledgeable. This store is very family friendly. There is so many kids books and adorable chairs for kiddos to sit at. I found a book from the country I’m from. I can’t wait to read it to my boys and for them to read as well. Looking forward to the event she has Sept 14th, I know my boys will love this store. PS the awesome pens are a plus.

Excellent customer service. I ordered a specific edition of a book that's been published several times so there are several versions. Within days, the right edition was in my hands. Plus, this is a local place with values that uplift those who all too often are shoved to the margins. Good service, good people.
