Always get great recommendations from them for new books to read. They have a better selection than you’d expect for a small local bookstore. Even found a book my friend had written in Vermont!

Great selection of books. I love local stores. This isn’t really a spot for kids though - they have a kids section but my toddler and her friend were playing with the books (stacking, re-stacking… more re-stacking) and an employee came in and took the books from them and put them away. There were no other kids in the section or other people trying to use the area. She just took them away. The kids went back to playing (the employee didn’t say they couldn’t or anything) and she came back a few minutes later and took the books away again - all without even speaking to us or the kids. Just unfriendly. It just felt very - buy kids’ books here but don’t use the space. Three Avenues book shop on Wellington/lincoln/southport treats the youngest book lovers as important members of the book community. I’ll still come here of course, love local stores, but it’s not a fun family outing and my daughter won’t have memories of playing here the way I do from my own childhood.

Cute bookstore. Expensive. The older woman at the register was not so nice. Very cold and unwelcoming. My husband asked to purchase a Lego Architect book that appeared to be fairly tattered and used. The woman was going to sell it to him full price until he questioned her about it. She was bothered by his question about the book and then told him she fotos discount it but didn't seem to happy about it. You'd expect a used book price would be offered as the book was not in the best condition. The woman was not very friendly and appeared to be bothered by my husband and my 5yr old son. Will not be returning to this bookstore. Logan Square has a phenomenal used bookstore with great customer service.

Fantastic independent bookstore with very knowledgeable staff who can give helpful recommendations based on what you are looking for. Be sure to ask about the book club for deals. Great selection and a comfortable environment. High quality books. I was impressed by their children's and young adult book selection. They also post some good staff reviews on their shelves if you're looking for suggestions. Very fun place to shop!

This is such a great bookstore with large variety of books that I can choose from. We can actually order the books and have them shipped to our house which is really convenient for us. The staff is very helpful in assisting us.
