I want to add a resounding agreement with all 5 star reviews. Might be one of the best, most-organized used bookstores I've visited with a fabulous selection of new as well. Judith was lovely!

If you are looking to purchase slightly used books in good condition then I'd recommend this place, I'm only giving it 2 stars because the reason I was there was to sell some very nice valuable good condition rare 1st addition books that I have, but upon speaking with the woman (who I assume was the owner) about them purchasing books, she was very rude, I could tell the second she saw me that she was assuming that I didn't have anything that she would be interested in, so I brought in 1 small box of books, ( I had around 6 boxes in the car I was looking to sell) and as I set the box onto the counter she peeked in and said " ya see I wouldn't be interested in anything in this condition" and I asked her if she would like to see any of the other boxes I had? To which she bluntly replied "no", so I just left and kind of chuckled to myself because had she of even taken the time to glance at a few of the titles in the box, she would have known what she was passing up! I went home and posted the books from that box online, and I made over $6,000 on the 16 books from that small box I was going to sell to her! I have been collecting rare books for many years, and I had some 1st edition, some signed, all with the original dust covers included, and even though I know the value of each book, I had been willing to take A LOT LESS than what they worth, but ended up making a lot more than I had expected, so truly it was her loss and I'm glad that she was too rude to even consider looking at what I had to offer! I'd definitely not recommend this store if you are looking to sell books, or if you would like friendly customer service. If you are going to purchase books, she had a nice selection and was on the high side of reasonably priced used books, but Iin my opinion her attitude alone made it not worth giving her any of my buisness.

Absolutely love this book store. They have a lot of affordable books you can choose from. I love going to the romance section when coming here! I got three books for $25! I love that it's located next to a coffee shop also and a grocery store. The cashier's are always so nice and helpful!

I am such a fan of Scout & Morgan Books; which local artist and long time resident of Cambridge Larry Ostrom says is "a living treasure". I agree with this and also believe that Judith (owner) is a shining light in our community. She is warm, welcoming and thoughtful. She remembers that I like certain journals and has an instinct to know which books I may be drawn to. This lovely shop invites and welcomes me to browse and check out the wide array of books, and one may even wish to grab a coffee or lunch from the City Center Market Cafe right next door and get comfy in front of the cozy fireplace. I love that there are cards for all occasions, gift ideas like candles, socks, puzzles and of course; books; of which they have for all ages. This treasure of a shop has something for everyone and it has new and previously gently owned books as well as activity books for children. Judith is great about connecting with local authors as well and often collaborates with them for book signings and other events. If you are a book lover or want to bless a book lover...come and check out Scout & Morgan; linger, grab a coffee, chat with Judith and buy a book (or three). Books have a way of bringing people in our community together.

Lovely little bookstore with a wide selection of new and used books and other fun things. The clerk was very attentive to the needs of the customers and found out my kid was obsessed with a certain series helped me find related items in store.
