Sooooooo many books. Such great merch! I could have spent hours just looking at all the extras besides books that they had! Loved every minute. Miles of books, notebooks, shirts, cards, and bags! They hold excellent exclusive events, beautiful blind date with a book, friendly staff. It's a must visit for all book lovers!

When you need something and it’s out of print, first visit Strand before making any other trip to another book store. Just about 100 years old and they have books! You can spend time in the store, order a unique copy or buy at a discount from many specially marked sections. Bible selections are so awesome and unique. They always say “we don’t have much” and they have the best antique selections along with new ones. I Love Strand Books!

I love a good bookstore. The second floor with the children’s area and the art books was my personal favorite. They have really awesome blind date with a book covers for young adults and kids fiction. Two wonderful employees helped me pick out a couple of my 9 and 12 year old. The rare book room was very neat but the female employee up there on Thursday was pretty rude when I asked for assistance. Despite that they still get 5 stars because all the other employees were lovely and the store was great.
