Studio Moonfall

This is an adorable little indie bookstore hosting books by the owner and by local* authors. Great selections of fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and more. It has a pretty small, but certainly unique selection of books, and they regularly host wonderful events! Plus some fun bookish and gamer merch. The owner and employees were both really friendly and helpful. *Local = authors from the general area and ones the owner knows or has met at events.

Best book store ever! He has a little bit of everything for everyone. Stickers, pins, Screaming Goats, Zen Litter Box GARDENING and books that range from DnD, H.P. Lovecraft to local writers. You can also join Donovan Scherer’s Studio Moonfall Patreon and receive monthly stickers and coloring books! If you watch his facebook page, there are also random fun promotions like the one I recently tried out where I brought ten rocks in and received two pins that they made into magnets for my pc for the cost of bringing those ten rocks in :) I haven’t seen a deal like that before around here. All in all this is a great bookstore that I definitely recommend checking out.

Very artsy shop. Love the vibe in this macabre little store. Filled with local artists work, kids books with artwork! Lots of sci-fi,books etc.. you have to check this place out if you love books & original illustrations. They usually have some sort of sake going on & featuring a writer for book signings.

Randomly stumbled on this gem when I accidentally took a wrong turn....definitely will be visiting the next time I return to Kenosha, WI. The shop owner has local works, art, buttons, pins, dice, comics, prints from local artists. I got a couple prints and some pins for my bookbag...always love to spend at an independent small biz and this place was great.
