Sundrop Books is Durant, Oklahoma's bright local bookstore! Sundrop Books offers new and used books in a wide variety of genres, topics, and age-categories. There truly is something for everyone in the family! Most of our used inventory is sourced through our trade program, which allows customers to earn in-store credit by trading in used books in good condition. Additionally, we regularly host free community events in our store such as children's story times, book clubs, and author meet-and-greets. We are especially proud of our Native section of books, which is prominently displayed at the front of our store. This section features a variety of Indigenous authors and books about Indigenous cultures and histories. Sundrop Books also does consignment with local authors and artisans.

Lovely Indie bookstore in downtown Denison, Texas. They have a great selection of books shelved by genre. There are couches to sit on and browse through the books. The store has plenty of space to move around in, but also feels cozy and warm. The owner there was welcoming and fun to chat with. Be aware that used books are shelved in with the new books. I liked this because I picked books based on interest and I don’t care if they’re new or used, but of course the new books are priced higher than the used. So just check the price tags if you’re unsure. and by the way, everything was reasonably priced they even have some blind date with the books which I love to purchase.

Love love LOVE this book store! Fair prices & a good variety of genres and authors! If I could change anything it would just be that they had more manga! They are trying to add it though so excited about that! Workers are wonderful & the store is well kept. They also have a book trade for store credit so if you visit be sure to ask about it!! They have children's books & cultural books as well!

Pleasant little book store. Has some couches to sit on with good lighting. I saw a lot of kids books available. The nice woman there said they have an exchange program for new or used books.

Taylor was amazing helping my son find recommendations. She never discouraged a difficult read he picked out, but instead helped him find other books he would enjoy.

The owner was incredibly sweet, and easily dealt with my mother and I being chatterboxes. She’s spunky, sweet, and clearly passionate about her business. PLEASE come here for used books. They’re so well loved 🥺
