Sunken City Books (Crafted at the Port of L.A.)

Unlike many places like this, they really do have unique things here. It’s definitely worth a stop. The candied apple store was amazing. Make sure you stop by Wunderkammer next door.

Visited Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro today! So many vendors with great products! My favorite shops I purchased from were R Sew Cute - a store that sells hand sewn items like Mug Rugs, tissue holders, athletic towels with a zipper pouch for keys and i.d., etc! I also loved CharMel Natural Stone Jewelry and Love Petals Crochet. All three stores were connected and had really amazing hand crafted products! Will definitely shop again and sign up for crochet classes!

I was so excited to finally make it to Crafted. Be prepared. This warehouse IS HUGE. It can be overwhelming when first walking in and should just plan to spend the whole day here. There are so many artisans to look at as well as a section for a San Pedro Art Collectibe. There are some eateries, like cookies, an Ube shop, chocolate and a coffee shop. I was told there used to be a brewery at the warehouse next door but they are not there anymore. It looks like you can pack food or purchase food nearby and bring it in. There's plenty of seating inside and out. Overall, it's a great place for crafters to bring projects and hang out.

Crafted is a unique experience. Art and shopping combine to offer the perfect environment for losing yourself for an hour. Individual vendor stalls offer various products such as jewelry, soap, flowers, clothing, and more. It is the perfect spot to buy some souvenirs and support local artists. An added bonus is that the free trolley has a stop right outside the market. Definitely give this location a visit if you are in San Pedro.
