TAiLS of a Bookworm is a non-profit, primarily used book store/gift shop that raises money for for local animal shelters and rescues in need. Owned by TAiLS, a 501c3 non-profit (81-1611545), we sell a mixture of used books and gift items for people and pets. We feature kittens on-site for adoption from local shelters. Our store ran from 2019-2021 on an all volunteer basis, and then we became able to pay someone to manage the bookstore full-time, focusing on networking, fundraising, etc. In the past few years, our non-profit has donated over $50,000 to both local and statewide animal shelters and rescues.

I love this store! It is one of m6 family's favorite places. They have an excellent selection of new and used books (including local authors!), locally sourced items like coffee, journals, and other handicrafts. They support Fulton County Humane Society by hosting kittens up for adoption and are working on expanding to host adult cats! Love their mission and acceptance 💙

This bookstore has everything you need! Books! Cats!!! Noah the bookstore cat does an excellent job helping at the register. And the kittens in the kitten room are just adorable to watch. There are so many cute bookish items, and a cool wall of book pages that you can take pictures at. They also do fun local author + vendor events. If you haven't been to this local bookstore, you have to check it out!!

Books?! Cats?! I knew I was going to love this place! It is honestly incredible. There were no kitties there when I went, because they all had recently gotten adopted. Nonetheless, their mission is amazing, and I will be back to visit again! They have an entire wall of stickers and an awesome magnet selection!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this store. I love that they help find homes for cats and kittens, while helping sell used books at the same time. Every time I have been there, the service was great. Highly recommend!

Came for a gift card, left with a lot more!! Fantastic local bookstore with fun gifts for purchase as well. Everything from tea towels to coffee cups to magnets to stuffed animals! The kind of place you go to when you are looking for nothing in particular OR something very particular, like a specific book title. They have blind book grabs, new and used titles for sale, and even gift cards! Did I mention there is a "cat room" here as well?! At the very least, just stop in and smell the pages...Your inner word nerd will thank you!
