The End is a general interest, full-service bookstore for readers of all ages. Established in 2013 as Let's Play Books Bookstore in Emmaus, PA, our current location opened in April of 2023 as The End Bookstore. We continue to support programs throughout our community and in local schools under the Let's Play Books Co. umbrella.

Upon entering The End Bookstore for me was like being transported to an experience similar to stepping into a Disney World theme park! The wooden treehouse, the curated selection of books, edible treats like the caramel candy, delicious smelling pens like the smell of cupcakes, comfy chairs, & soft music is my literary local getaway. Visit this store if you’re seeking a momentary escape from all the external noise! Reconnect to your inward person with The End Bookstore! ❤️

When I'm traveling, I try to seek out and explore at least one Indie bookstore. The End, despite its slightly forbidding name is one of the best ever. It checked all the boxes: nicely curated selection of books, friendly, welcoming staff, inviting spaces to sit, socially responsible approach to selling. To top it all off, found an interesting, beautiful book to buy! Highly recommended. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Great local bookstore! I really like their membership plan. They are also willing to order books if you cannot find them in the store. They have a lot of signed books and events for kids and adults.

The End just recently remodeled and it looks great! My first visit was near closing time, but they were accommodating and helpful. I placed an order for a book not in stock with no issue. It arrived quickly and they called me right away. I'll definitely be back!

A fabulous bookstore!! Loved hanging out and browsing through all of their books. They have loads of local authors, signed copies and, of course, the latest bestsellers. If you're a book lover this shop should be on your list... Plus check them out online!
