We are a book and gift store located inside the San Diego Central LIbrary in downtown San Diego. We are a non-profit, owned and operated in a partnership betweebn the San Diego Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the San Diego Libraries. We specialize in children's products, unique literary-themed gifts, books and items from local artisans. We support all San Diego Central Library author evens through sales of the authors' books.

Adorable shop that supports a great cause! Such a super cute shop! while it doesn't have a huge selection of books, it's full of fun gifts and unique finds. I love that all proceeds go to support the public library system. Plus, they validate parking for 2 hours, which makes it really convenient.

I firmly believe in supporting my local library and small businesses in general. This was the perfect stop to find a few small Christmas gifts for my coworkers, and the lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming.

Nice bookstore and gift shop supporting the Dan Diego library. Really nicely curated selection of books. Friendly staff.

Lots of unique items, cook books, kids toys, awesome enamel pins and strange items. It's a great place to look if you're into small shops, want to support the libraries in SD, or are looking for gifts. Friendly staff. Connected to the central SD library. I wanted this cookbook.
