The Neverending Story (NY)

I visited this bookstore a couple of weeks ago and had such a great experience. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming — they truly made me feel at home the moment I walked in. Everyone was eager to help and offered great recommendations without being pushy. The selection of books was fantastic — there’s something for everyone, from bestsellers to hidden gems. Even gave a great recommendation for a local coffee shop to check out after my purchase! Parking was a breeze, too. Even if you can’t find a spot right out front, there are plenty of nearby options, so it’s never an issue. Overall, this is one of those places that makes you fall back in love with visiting local bookstores. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The Neverending Story is a gem in Babylon village. Nestled in the heart the many amazing coffee shops and specialty stores, this second hand bookstore has quickly become my favorite destination. The owner has extensive knowledge of her trade, and is so helpful every time I’ve been in. The scope of inventory she keeps is extensive, with most books coming to her pre- loved. If she doesn’t have something that you’re looking for, just ask. And it’s not just books! The last time I was in I purchased a beautiful vintage silk scarf and gold pin as a gift for a loved one. Her business is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint as well as find unique specialty items. Ten stars!

Me and my family love coming here! My son always finds a good book to add to his library. I love perusing the shelves myself - the books! the trinkets! Love everything about this shop. The owner is friendly and helpful (and her pupper is adorable). We love supporting a small, local business!!

The best bookstore on Long Island! This incredible store has something for everyone. A great selection for kids and adults with a lot of variety. Colleen is so kind, helpful, snd supportive of independent authors as well. There are also tons of fun events, and an overall positive vibe in the space. Don’t miss it!
