one of my favorite independent book stores! they are so welcoming and inclusive of everyone and make it a point to showcase bipoc and queer titles. as a romance girlie, they have a killer romance section full of both traditionally and indie published authors 💕📚 thank you for everything you do purple couch bookshop!

A wonderful bookshop full of wonderful people! Purple Couch has a fantastic, curated selection, several amazing book clubs across a variety of genres, and comfy, cozy couches to curl up on with a good book. It’s even dog friendly!

We absolutely love this bookstore! We visit every week and it’s become such a welcoming part of our routine. Their book clubs and author events are fantastic. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and also great about ordering anything they don’t have in stock. They also have the best selection of stickers, journals, and fun gifts. A true gem of a shop!

My husband and I wouldn't be as settled in our new home as we are if it weren't for the Purple Couch Bookshop. When we discovered they were a 4-minute drive away, it felt a little like fate. We know and love the booksellers well now, and I've met some of the most incredible people through the romance book club. The booksellers get to know you, fawn over your dog, remember what you read and make good recommendations, and showcase a wide range of books by well known and breakout authors alike. I've taken my best friend, my mom, and my mother-in-law to visit because I want everyone to meet my friends from the bookstore. I'm a big reader, but I didn't realize I was moving so close to a bookstore. Now, I can't imagine what life would be like without this one. I love the PCB for their great selection, variety of author events, and delightful book clubs—but I mostly love them because they love me (and all their customers) back.
