A book lover’s paradise! This Barnes & Noble store is absolutely amazing — it has everything a bookstore should have and more. The selection is huge, covering all genres, bestsellers, and hidden gems. The layout is easy to navigate, making browsing a true pleasure. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help with recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a specific title or just want to wander and discover new books, this store is perfect! They also have a cozy café area, which is great for reading or relaxing with a coffee. Special sections like gifts, stationery, and children’s books make it even more enjoyable. Every visit feels like a mini adventure for book lovers.

Take the escalator down to a huge, spotless, beautiful store where you are welcome to spend the day. Every book category imaginable is well represented. Plenty of friendly, knowledgeable employees are eager to help. They also offer a fairly large restaurant, and a half dozen bathrooms. And the place is spotless. Very impressive. Obviously well managed. ♿️

Good overall location. Don't let the outside throw you off - it looks small from the outside, but once you head down with either an escalator or an elevator, you can see the full size of this location. You can also access this from the side of the building down a flight of stairs. This one was busier than other locations I went to, though this was also on a weekend which might explain it. It's standard as far as what Barnes & Noble generally carries. What they don't have, they can always order for you. If you're looking for blu ray/DVDs, you won't find any here at all - which is a bit disappointing. They do have vinyl though. Only had interaction with one employee and he was friendly. Most others I saw were with customers. Located in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center mall, there is plenty of parking. It's a generally busy shopping area, so use caution in the lot. A good location, but I don't see myself coming back here unless I'm in the immediate area and need to.

Found another food gem in the most unlikeliest of places…. The shrimp avocado salad, the bacon mac and cheese, the chili , the tomato soup, the vanilla chai latte, the white mocha frap… the chocolate cupcake… YES WE ORDERED ALL THIS And. It. Was. Peak. Deliciousness. And the customer service was great. Yes, Barnes and Noble!

This review has nothing to do with the bookstore part but is of Barnes and Noble Kitchen) The bookstore is nice! After my toddler and I went to the bookstore we decided to go to this restaurant. We sat for maybe 20 minutes without as much as a hello. We watched as other patrons were attended to while we were ignored. One of the staff saw me looking at him and brought us menus. Didn't ask if we'd like water or anything for that matter and walked away. We ended up walking out as he never came back to our table. Maybe we didn't "look" worth being served.. Shame on you Barnes and Noble Kitchen.
