We were a brick-and-mortar store for 46 years, but the store was burnt to the ground during riots on May 30, 2020. On August 14, 2022, we opened in our new brick-and-mortar store, about 2 miles east of our old location. We specialize in science fiction, fantasy, and mysteries, new and used.

This is a shockingly good bookstore. As someone who reads mostly fantasy and sci fi, this place has it all. A very good used selection as well as new. I never leave empty handed. Was greeted upon walking in, by both human and dog, and felt welcomed.

This is a great book store! There was plenty of used and new items. the organization was a bit confusing but if you asked staff they knew exactly where things were if you were looking for something specific. Will return!

I cannot believe that this wonderful place exists and I did not find it earlier in my life. Everything you can think of. Many signed first editions. I had to limit myself or I'd go broke. I scored a bag full of first edition science fiction books by award winning authors... at the price you would normally pay for books with a lesser pedigree. The staff is incredible. They're not just clerks. They really know the science fiction genre. For their anniversary sale they offered 20% off with the purchase of a $4 saver card. And I got a free Uncle Edgar book bag. They have an online store as well. All I can say is that I'll have to put myself on a buget.

A cozy and fairly complete pair of genre bookstores: Uncle Hugo's for the science fiction genre and Uncle Edgar's for mystery fiction. They carry a few adjacent games, gifts, and knick-knacks plus some store merch. A huge selection of used books on both genres.

I went into the store looking for paranormal and sci-fi romance and the staff members helped me find several authors that fit the bill. It felt like a treasure hunt in there. I loved the selection of Buffy and Angel books. And the shop dogs were so friendly.
