Valley Bookstore

From the moment I stepped in my mood shifted. It was very warm and inviting this is an extraordinary bookstore. I particularly appreciate it how much of the series novels were devoted by the bookstore staff with a little sheet sheet of the order that they are to be read in. I wish more bookstores would do that. That is fabulous and certainly makes it easy to pick a new series to dive into. The shopkeeper with the British action was very warm and welcoming. She also shared with me information on ways to further support local authors. Which I greatly appreciate. In general, I would highly highly recommend checking out Valley bookstore! They have quite the selection ranging from history, spirituality, biographies, art, contemporary fiction, children's books nature guides, special orders, science fiction, cookbook philosophy, as well as local Wyoming stories from past and present. If you like to read, this is a must stop in Jackson!

Cute shop with kind employees! Fiction selection was a little heavy on the NYT best sellers for my taste, but I overheard them talk about being able to place orders for customers, which was great. Appreciated that they had a heavy fantasy/sci-fi selection and vast range of non-fiction, and adorable kids corner too. I loved the staff pick shelf the best! 🩷

This little bookstore is such a cozy, welcoming spot — exactly what you want in a small town. The shelves are full of interesting books, from classics to newer titles, and I always seem to find something unexpected when I browse. The owner is so kind and really knows her stuff — she’s great at helping you pick out your next read or just chatting about books. You can really feel how much love has gone into making this place special. It’s one of my favorite places to pop into when I’m in town. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet!

Awesome bookstore. I am always impressed by the breadth of knowledge of the staff, how friendly they are, and the quality and volume of books they stock! I end up buying a book almost every time I go in. Great local/Wyoming specific content for the out-of-towners as well!
