Vashon Bookshop

This small bookshop packs a punch! It’s is so stylish and well laid out. There is a nice variety of books- both new and used. Prices are fair. The only downside was the woman behind the counter wasn’t very friendly. I would still return, though!

Great for locals and visitors. Wide selection and organization of books. Staff recommendations are spot on! We go anytime on Vashon now. New and used - can often find newly used. Beautiful cards and stickers.

So pleased to be able to walk into a bookstore and talk with the staff. I asked one for books she has had recently and would recommend. She offered a number of them and I chose Braiding Sweetgrass and Americanah. Braiding sweetgrass is a must read and so beautifully written. Just starting Americanah and I am loving it already.

My daughter needed two more books for fifth grade classroom. The book she needed was out of print, but Vashon had one copy in their inventory. They shipped it out very promptly. Had a great experience with them.
