Viva Books is a used and new bookstore serving downtown Baltimore. Literary fiction and poetry, nonfiction and illustrated books, and it being Baltimore all the John Waters and Edgar Allen Poe books we can find. A general bookstore, just compact. Located in Browns Arcade, a Victorian era shopping arcade, on Charles Street. Thanks to our neighbor, Stem & Vine, we are about to offer wine and cocktails at all book events. Our one of a kind space is available for events and to rent.

This place is awesome! I visit a lot of bookstores so this time, I was looking for somewhere unique and this place didn't disappoint. The book store may not look huge but there's so much here, everything you could think of. I walked away with quite a hefty purchase but was so pleased to find mesoamerican texts and also made a new friend! Her cat companion is so affectionate and adorable, it made the experience all the sweeter.

Excellent bookstore-- many lost and found gems in the piles. Well curated and maintained. The owner was wonderful with an artist's perspective on dustjackets, the life of books, and had a smiling-energy one can get lost in.

I love viva books. Her cat is awesome and she has a very big selection of books👍she has lots of important historical books as well as new and improved writing.🥳🥳🤩
