Independent when born in 1985, getting more independent ever since. Books and gifts all hand-chosen with thoughtful people in mind. We carry new books in almost all categories, carefully selected with an eye for serendipity as well as classics. Sidelines include totes, note cards, puppets, journals and notebooks, jigsaw puzzles, and local honey and honey-based products. Our website is a sampling of the character and inventory of our store, and we ship nationwide.

Wonderful local bookshop! Great selection of books, & puzzles. If you can't find what you're looking for, the owner can order it for you. Best part, is the store cat!

I visit here every couple weeks to support a local bookstore and roam. I love the selection and quarter cart days. The owner is a very sweet man, he also is very knowledgeable. It’s such a cute independent bookstore in the borough. They also have a cute cat ❤️
