3rd Street Book Exchange

This place is wonderful. The owner is exceedingly kind and welcomes people from all backgrounds. She even has puzzles for younger customers. My kids love the stickers, books, and atmosphere. I love this you get to enjoy a pace and style untouched by time.

What a fantastic bookstore! Total throwback to the mom & pop book shops of yesteryear! Just the right balance of organization and clutter that the bookophiles will love- big cozy chairs to relax in and crack a vintage scarcity, or truck upstairs for more hidden gems. Friendly, helpful staff and good selections in just about everything. Pricing was slightly higher than I would like, but not outrageous. Roughly $1-2 above half-off for most things (except vintage and collectible.) Its hard to compete with Half Price Books, though. Just know when you buy, you're supporting a great local business keeping those bookstores of yester-year going. Kudos!

Really cozy environment, with lots of hidden treasures inside—The book nooks were especially cute. There are lots of good books to choose from and a good trade deal, bring one book, and get one half off (with a few exceptions).

I picked up reading again and wanted to find a good book store that felt welcoming and this book store did just that. Not only am I able to trade in books and get a percentage off the lady who works there is amazing! I went in to find a book for my flight and she pointed me in the right direction I walked out with 3 books 2 of which she suggested and loved. Spoiler alert I read them both in 2 weeks, loved them so much I went back in and bought the rest of the series and the 2nd book to the 2 series she suggested (I bought another 3 books and came back that Friday for another) moral of all this is this book store is 10 out of 10 and the customer service is top tier to the point I'd go back to the store just to have a friendly conversation with the lady who helped me pick out my books.
