What a great local bookstore. You can tell they put thought into curating “all good books” for customers to choose from. It’s not packed full of everything, instead there is a well organized selection of some of the best books to choose from. They will order books for you as well. 📕 🌟

A wonderful place for finding your next read, being recommended a book, attending a book event or just hiding in a quiet corner. AGB is Columbia’s premier independent bookstore and we’re lucky to have her!!

Great bookstore with a lovely setup, and there aren't that many in the Columbia area so I hate to bash it, but it was kinda cold and empty in there. I expected a bit more bustle, and if they served drinks, I didn't see much evidence. Maybe it's hopping more when students are in town. Books are *expensive* here - I hate to compare to online prices, but I bought one for $30 that I could have gotten for half as much elsewhere. But it's a lovely space and I want them to stay in business, I wonder if I caught it on an off day...staff could be much more friendly.

My family and I visited for the first time today. Nice store and the back outside reading area was nice. Books were definitely more pricey then other places; however my son was excited to find a newly released book he wanted. During our time there we were never greeted or asked if we needed any assistance. When we went to the register to pay, there was no acknowledgement. The two guys keep going in conversation. No acknowledgement during the whole transaction. Didn't feel welcomed or that we belonged there. Definitely didn't like the vibe we received from the guys at the register. We regretted spending our money here. Unfortunate that the customer service was so bad because we really liked the set up and look of the store. Our family will go elsewhere next time.
