Nestled in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, we share our beautiful valley with Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, American Players Theatre, The House On The Rock, and the Wisconsin River. We are a general bookstore with a wide selection of genres and lovingly selected titles, for all ages and interests. We carry cards, candles and many pretty, fun and unique literary gift items. We are also home to The Paper Crane Coffeehouse which offers a wide array of drinks and light fare, made right here in our kitchen. A monthly bookclub, our weekly newsletter, and author events bring our bookstore to you.

Love local bookstores. Last time in, I picked up a great variety of books from fiction to health and wellness to Great escapes in Wisconsin. The coffee is phenomenal and so is the tea. And everyone is friendly. They serve food and I haven't tried it yet. But it looks really good.

Great stop and good coffee. They had a nice refrigerator section with prepared sandwiches and bottled drinks. We were there right when they opened and traffic picked up quickly. This is definitely the place to be in town. A must check out for the area. I picked up a few books. Loved the cards and stickers!

Great selection and helpful staff. Walked out with a stack of books - titles and authors I haven’t heard of - which was exactly what I wanted!! All in my fave genres, thanks to their suggestions. Will be back! ETA - Yes! That was my sister. Great memory!

What an adorable bookstore! They have a great collection, especially if you are looking for non fiction, memoirs, poetry, or biographies. The vibes are so cozy, it was bustling on the Sunday I stopped in, and the coffee and pastries they sell are delicious!
