Half Price Books Madison

My favorite used book store ever! This place is amazing. It's packed with all kinds of books both new and used. They have a wide variety of genres that are arranged in a customer friendly layout. Aside from books you can get cool gifts, records, DVDs, CDs, toys, and calendars here. There really is something for everyone here. And the prices are pretty fair. Staff is super helpful and wonderful to work with. I have been coming for years. I like to come in and trade books and music. They always take my college textbooks too, which is really nice! I have never had a bad experience here its truly one of a kind.

I am in love love love with this Ethan guy! Read a couple reviews about this guy and knew I had to make the 2 and a half hour drive up from the Chicago suburbs. IT WAS WORTH IT. He is absolutely wonderful! I had such a great shopping experience thanks to his help. I think he might have even noticed me staring at him from time to time, oh well! I’d recommend this place to anyone within the midwest so long as Ethan is around! Didn’t go home empty handed either, he helped me find all nine volumes of Atlas Shrugged to take back with me!

Great place to buy gently used books and find new art kits and collectible gifts! My nieces, nephews, and godson are voracious readers. They squealed with joy when they unwrapped their gifted books. They have a great selection of cookbooks and records.

A exemplary Half Price Books. For those that have never been, used books, as well as comics, cds, dvd/bluray, records, some video games, maybe a few lego sets or puzzles here or there. Well organized. But, in my opinion, prices not quite as low as the name of the store may suggest.
