What a delightful bookstore! An outdoor bookstore! I didn't get to go through all of it, but if you go take your time and know a couple of authors names that you like. Had an alpha area, and then subjects are also alpha. Very nicely done and presentation is great.

Whenever I’m in Ojai, Bart’s Books is a must-stop. I love wandering through its maze-like outdoor corridors—every visit feels like a discovery. No matter how many times I come, I always find an interesting book to take home—such a unique, peaceful, and inspiring place.

The perfect place for book lovers. A visit to Ojai isn’t complete without dropping in here. It was our last stop on a rainy Saturday. I’ve always been a fan of the vibes here. You feel like you’re in a magical place the moment you enter. I love that even when it happens to be raining, their goodies stay dry. There’s so much to see and discover. As many times as I’ve been here, I still discover random corners. If you’re in the mood to chill and do some reading, they do have some benches and some chairs so you can peruse before purchasing.
