Belmont Books

I've been checking out this bookstore a lot lately, and I gotta say, it's a gem. The selection of books is really impressive - they've got a great mix of bestsellers, indie authors, and classics. I found some hidden gems on their shelves that I'd never seen before, and that's always a win. The environment's another big plus. It's cozy, quiet, and feels like the perfect spot to get lost in a book. They've got comfy seating areas, too, so you can sit and browse to your heart's content. The decor's nice, too - not too over-the-top, just enough to make it feel welcoming. The staff's super knowledgeable and friendly, always happy to help you find something that fits what you're looking for. They've got some great recommendations, too, if you're willing to ask. Now, I do have to say, the prices are a bit steep. But, you know, that's just the reality of new books these days. Still, they do have some deals and discounts if you're willing to dig around. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking this bookstore out. It's a great spot to discover new authors, chill out, or just get some reading time in. And if you're a book lover like me, you'll probably appreciate the vibe. 😊 Might not be the cheapest place, but it's worth it for the selection and atmosphere.

Belmont Books is an absolute treasure! It is a place where you can peruse and purchase real books, imagine that! It provides a delightful reprieve from corporate commerce! The vibe is welcoming and there is a true sense of community. There are lovely cards, toys, and interesting gifts for sale as well. The upstairs is a dedicated Children's section. On any given day you will find parents and young kids reading books together, school aged kids exploring titles and reading, and young adolescents hanging out together checking out age appropriate selections as well. Until recently, there was a large stuffed bean bag black bear on the floor where you might find a young kid taking a nap with a parent/caretaker nearby catching a breath. Downstairs you will find the adult book section and The Black Bear Cafe. The cafe serves high quality teas, coffees, and snacks. There are delicious fresh baked pastries and cookies that get brought in regularly, and, a daily batch of fresh homemade quality soup or Chilli. There is a small sitting area with tables and chairs. The cafe is staffed by lovely people who accommodate special requests when possible. The Bookstore staff are knowledgeable and happy to help. They provide gift wrapping and can order a book for you if it isn't in stock. Belmont Books is a very special place providing a unique and wonderful environment for kids and adults alike!

Wonderful book shop with many other gift items. Hadn't been for awhile just do to living elsewhere. Now that I'm not too far away again, happy to rediscover it. Staff are helpful, welcoming, and kind on top of the terrific selection of books and other gifts.

This is a magical neighborhood bookstore. Belmont Books has friendly staff and a wide book selection. They also have a cafe with a broad collection of coffee and other drinks, pastries and bagels. I enjoy spending time here, browsing, finding new treasures to bring home. I recommend this great bookshop highly.
