When I asked about a specific topic, the young woman pointed me in the exact direction I needed, adding her personal connection with the book I ended up purchasing. They also have games, puzzles, gifts, and of course books for all ages. If they don't have the book you want, they can likely order it in. Avoid the maze of the big box book store and find happiness in shopping at BBB. I did!

This is Ladner’s beloved local bookstore—small town, small store, but filled with great finds. It’s impressively well-stocked, and the staff are incredibly friendly, always eager to chat and offer personalized recommendations. They also host fun monthly giveaways and create cool opportunities for community interaction, like book clubs and more. While the books might be a bit pricier than buying from Amazon or Indigo, I’m all for supporting local businesses. I love popping in from time to time, even if it’s just to browse. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home with books.
