Darvill’s Bookstore surrounds you with books and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world. It beautifully combines a stunning ocean view with a great coffee experience, truly a magical spot.

Very nice selection of books, but the coffee shop was the star of the show for me. They have a unique offering of blended drinks with flavor combinations that think way out of the coffee box. I recommend the Hot Stella. Don't be afraid of the chipotle. It's just enough to balance the sweet cinnamon and maple with a hint of smokiness that leaves a little warm tingle in the back of your throat. Our group each ordered a different item and they all received rave reviews. I give it five beans!

What a lovely little bookstore, with helpful and kind staff. Located right in downtown Eastsound, it’s a fun stop when you’re out perusing the shops. We were delighted to find a very cute book and a ferry box of chocolates to take home to our son. Very nice book selection for all ages and interests.

Only place on island for NYT daily. except they charged me $7.50 though the Sunday times says $6.00 Kelly is the best. Steer clear of the owner they may be offended by gravity. A little about myself to start. I used to work as a special order manager in NYC. Thankfully books are just one type of item that needs to be ordered. unfortunately this store can't even manage book special orders. I tried to order first the hard bound then a trade paper version. the hardbound was undercharged, then overcharged and then corrected and I only received store credit. The item was damaged upon receiving. I tried again with the trade paper version. A slightly more complicated ask but far easier for kids to read. They are divided into 10 books packged in pairs published so far. I was repeatedly contacted about each pair arrving. I never even received books 9 and 10. I'm sorry but it really seemed like the clerks couldn't even count while standing behind a register, rofl. I tried to buy the last pair off the shelf and was told they didn't need my business. just order online or library card if you don't see it on the self. -1star for no drip coffee in a bookstore...

Vibes. Such a gorgeous little bookshop, well curated. And could you ask for a more picturesque view from the children's section? Post up in the coffee shop couch area or sit looking out through the window, which has a handy pair of binoculars on the counter.
