I am incredibly grateful that this bookstore exists! This bookstore has a great selection of French language books for all levels of French speakers. As a high beginner-low intermediate student, there’s a great variety of French books here. The owner is also very kind and helpful in getting you what you’re looking for! I will definitely be back.

Lovely bookstore! @m.fast.crescent on Instagram is very helpful in sharing recommendations, French podcasts, and making the store a wonderful spot to browse. The prices and variety of books are great, and the used books they offer are just as great. They offer translations of popular American books which is perfect since I'm trying to learn more French. I can't wait to go back!

Charming shop on Kensington's Antique Row. They carry much more than books. This is an excellent place to buy a gift for someone. Their inventory includes original art work, toys, soaps, French delicacies, dish towels, and more. Definitely a great little store to browse and shop in.

I'm so happy Bonjour Books DC exists! We're helping our kindergartener learn French so he can speak the language with his dad, grandparents, and cousins from Burkina Faso. Our son really loves the T'choupi book and we're excited to get the last two books from our order. Merci ❤️

They do have a great selection, but their posted ‘hours’ are apparently more aspirational than informational. It’s an hour after they’re supposed to be open, and the sign on the door SAYS open, but there is no one there. The other vendors on their hall tell me they show up or don’t as the mood strikes. Unprofessional and disappointing.
